About Us
Collaborative Working.
Although we are a separate organisation from the pharmacy next door, we’ve been proud to collaborate with them in supporting the training and development of their pharmacy technicians.
As part of their training, some of the technicians employed by the pharmacy have been spending time with our team to gain broader experience and insight into patient care from a general practice perspective.
Most recently, one of the technicians led a fantastic health promotion stand in our reception area, engaging with patients on important topics and sharing useful resources. It was a pleasure to see their confidence and knowledge in action!
We’re proud to be part of their learning journey and look forward to continuing this supportive relationship. Watching these technicians grow in their skills and contribute to the wider healthcare team has been a rewarding experience for all involved.
DNA
A DNA ‘Did not attend’ means that the patient does not turn up for the appointment and does not contact the surgery with enough time in advance to cancel/change appointment.
Whilst we understand that the reason for the non-attendance is sometimes unavoidable, it is difficult for the Practice to make a judgement and the end result is always the same; a lost appointment that someone else could have used.
November 2025 a total of 58 hours were wasted.
May 2025 a total of 69.5 hours were wasted.
January 2025 a total of 84.25 hours were wasted.
