The Community Bite.
Join us for The Big Community Bite
B inspired are working with Taste at Leicester College to offer ‘the Big Community Bite’; an elegant afternoon tea experience for Braunstone residents.
This event will take place on Thurs 15 May, 1.45-3.15pm at The Grove Community Hub, Cort Crescent, LE3 1QZ, offering tasty treats and live music. The event is part of b inspired’s wellbeing programme, so residents who attend will receive a free wellbeing check and journal.
The Big Community Bite is available to anyone who lives in the LE3 1 postcode area, with residents being asked to contribute a small donation of £4 per person.

Gluten Free Prescribing.
The prescribing of gluten-free foods in Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland (LLR) is ending from 1 February 2025.
The LLR Integrated Care Board (ICB), the organisation that plans local NHS services, took the decision at its meeting on 12 December 2024, following a lengthy consultation process including discussions with patient representative groups and clinicians including GPs, dietitians and pharmacists.

Requesting a fit to work note (Sick note)
A fit to work note, is form completed by a clinical member to inform your work if you are fit to work commonly referred to as sick notes. From the 1st October 2024 we will no longer be taking these requests over the phone, you can request these by going on to our online services tab and completing a 'admin query' this will be sent to the relevant clinician and actioned within two working days. You will recieve a message to confirm if your request has been accepted or declined. You will not need to call the surgery regarding this.
